What class should you choose? Individual classes will vary in style and instruction by teacher but the descriptions below should describe your general expectation. Use this guide to see which class level is right for you.

All Levels
All Levels classes are suitable for beginners to seasoned practitioners – and everyone in between! These classes offer modifications so that you can customize postures to fit your personal level of practice.
Beginner
Beginner classes are designed to make yoga accessible to those who have no previous experience with the practice. You can expect to be introduced to the fundamentals of yoga such as alignment, posture modifications, meditation, and breath control as you begin to get familiar with your own mind, body, and breath connection. The teacher will break down the yoga postures step-by-step through verbal guidance and live demonstration.
Intermediate
Intermediate classes are for those who have general knowledge of yoga asana, have explored a variety of postures and yoga styles, and also understands the mind, body, and breath connection. The intermediate student has begun to practice yoga regularly.
Advanced
Advanced classes are designed for the experienced practitioner who has a very solid understanding of a variety of yoga postures, pranayama, meditation techniques, and who are comfortable performing more advanced asanas and transitions. The advanced student practices yoga regularly and has begun to master connection of breath with movement.
